If you loved Constantine and Shaun of the Dead, you’re going to also love this announcement. We’ve signed horror author A. M. Loweecey, and we’ll be publishing their novel dark urban fantasy Demons & Ramen (formerly published as Demons for Tea) in 2024.

Brian Keene called A. M. Loweecy’s novel “a fun occult detective romp that will appeal to fans of John Constantine, Anita Blake and Harry Dresden.”

Our submissions readers similarly fell in love with this story about Denis Kaine, part-time bookstore clerk, part-time exorcist who’s mourning the loss of his twin brother. The Church wants him to come back to teach at the seminary. His unwanted roommate – a 1,200 year old spirit — is determined to turn him into a ghost hunter. Only, the “ghost” he’d be exorcising for unsuspecting homeowners would be her. Between trying to put off the Church and his crazy-old roommate, he keeps getting messages from his dead brother. He’s in trouble and needs Denis’s help.

It’s dark, scary-good fun!
