June 27th, 2017 – Pittsburgh, PA – Mighty Quill Books is proud to announce the release of The Joy Thief, the newest installment in the epic fantasy Cathell series by A.M. Rycroft. The Joy Thief is the third book in the series and the first of two books by Rycroft slated for release this year.

Her story follows a woman who wakes to find she has no voice and no memory of how she got to “the garage”. It’s an excellent first person piece with twists and turns you won’t see coming.
Next up in our line up of author profiles from Dead of Winter is Robert Perret, author of the irreverent supernatural thriller “Coyoteman”. His story follows a serial killer who has the tables turned on him in the most fantastic way.
You wouldn’t be blamed for thinking that the definition of Horror, these days, is movies the likes of the Saw franchise, because that’s what has been marketed to us. We see flashes of blood, dismembered body parts and we shake in our boots. However, as someone who loves a truly good horror film and story, I know horror to be so much more.
