What could make an artificial intelligence feel emotion? Can a superpower ever be unwanted?
While searching for news of her brother lost in space, a young music student is pulled into a conspiracy over alien technology. An artificial intelligence becomes witness to a zombie apocalypse and struggles with newfound emotions. A man travels back in time to find one of his relatives in a desperate attempt to retrieve a lost password. And a writer tells his neighbors he possesses the world’s greatest – and most terrible – gift a writer could have: everything he writes comes true.
From near-future Earth to far-off worlds rocked by interstellar war, these strange encounters and more will transport you across the universe and time in this new collection of short stories by science fiction author Ramon Rozas III.

About Ramon Rozas III
He lives in northern West Virginia, in the mountains after having grown up in the “Garden State” of New Jersey.
Ramon has been writing speculative fiction, on and off, for almost as many years as he has been reading it. His favorite SF author is Larry Niven. Recently he has been greatly enjoying the “Killer B’s” (Benford, Brin and Bear), and the Scottish invasion of Ken MacLeod and Charlie Stross. Like many readers, he greatly misses Iain Banks.
When he’s not tinkering with his next novel, or writing short stories, Ramon practices law in a small law firm in western Maryland and northern West Virginia. You can follow him on his blog, www.ramonrozasiii.blogspot.com.
