Rumor has it that Tony-Paul de Vissage has written a lot of books. Dozens in fact. Most of them involving his favorite subject: vampires. Werewolves and ghosts are among his other favorites He’s been a regular finalist in the Paranormal Romance Guild’s Reviewer’s Choice Awards and Preditors and Editors Readers Polls alike, so he must be doing something right!

Tony-Paul De Vissage is a Southerner of French Huguenot extraction. His first movie memory is of being six years old, watching the old horror film Dracula’s Daughter, and being scared sleepless. We were first introduced to his work when he submitted several manuscripts during our “lost books” open call. The submissions editor assigned to the first of the batch immediately fell in love de Vissage’s writing style and characters.

The Nightman’s Odyssey will be the first book released under Epic Publishing’s label. It follows French nobleman Damien LaCroix, who makes a bargain with an Undead (read: vampire) in order to escape death from the plague sweeping across the region. He convinces his betrothed and his best friend to join him, but his plan goes awry, and his beloved Antoinette perishes. Thus begins his journey across time and continents — from the French Revolution to pre-Civil War Virginia — as he searches for someone to share eternity with while fighting for survival in a world where vampires are mistrusted, feared, and hated.

Note that this isn’t your usual vampire romance novel. There’s a ton of adventure and intrigue within its pages, and even some of that old-fashioned vampire horror de Vissage grew up on. It’s got something for everyone, no matter your vampire fiction preferences.

The Nightman’s Odyssey will be hitting stores shelves in late 2023/early 2024 (release date to be announced). For more updates on this title, follow our blog or subscribe to our emails.
