Our latest open call ended on 6/16, and our Submissions team is (happily) up to their eyeballs in books to be read and critiqued. It’s a good problem for us to have, but it’s always a bittersweet moment when we close out an open call period. There’s a certain thrill to opening the Submissions inbox each day to see what new gems dropped in since the day before.

If you’re an author and you’re bummed you missed the open call period, don’t worry; we’ll have another once we’ve sifted through this batch and sorted out which books will make the cut and which won’t. I can’t say for sure when we’ll open to submissions, but I suggest you follow this blog if you don’t want to miss it.

For all the fantasy, horror, and sci-fi readers out there, well, get ready. There are some really awesome books just itching to hit your bookshelves. When we get through all that reading, I’ll tell you just what you can expect from us next. All I’ll say for now is I think there’s going to be something for everyone. Vampires, magic, other worlds, spaceships, and more.

And at the risk of repeating myself . . . make sure you follow this blog, so you don’t miss one single announcement about what’s to come. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.
