Out today! Path of the Wolf by Tony-Paul de Vissage is a werewolf shifter romance set in 15th-century France, where Isabeau de Montaigne is a woman who’s been abused and forgotten by her husband Francois. He’s a self-absorbed artist more devoted to his art than to her. He turns her world upside-down after he returns from his latest absence with a strange, fur-covered man called “the wolf” in tow.

“But to sell a person as if he were chattel,” Isabeau protested. “Surely, the church would protest.”

It occurred to her this was exactly what her parents had done in giving her to François as his wife, and the church hadn’t disapproved of that with a single word.

“Let me worry about the church,” François answered. He picked up his wine glass. “For now, I have my St. Jean.” He paused, goblet halfway to his mouth as a thought occurred. “You’ll not be mentioning to anyone how I came to get him, or what he is, either—if you know what’s good for you.”

Claiming the creature as his new muse, Francois prepares to immortalize him as Saint Jean. As Isabeau grows closer to the captive creature, she begins to see the humanity in him and questions the monstrousness of the men around her. Realizing she’s as much a captive as he is, she finds the release she needed in his arms. Soon she realizes they must escape Francois’s cruelty or die trying.

Path of the Wolf is sensual historical fantasy about captivity, desire, and the blurred lines between man and myth. Grab your copy today!

More About Tony-Paul de Vissage

A Southerner of French Huguenot extraction, one of Tony-Paul de Vissage’s first movie memory is of being six years old, viewing the old Universal horror flick, Dracula’s Daughter on television, and being scared sleepless. That may explain his lifelong interest in vampires and why he’s now paying back his too-permissive parents by writing about those who walk the night. Tony-Paul’s The Nightman’s Odyssey, a dark vampire romance, was published by Epic Publishing last year.
